Can this be done with the menu item

I have build a menu which has a complex structure so if i go hover over menu item 1 the submenu is opening which is fine but i want that the menu item 1 is clickable too. is that possible. I tried this with the URL Redirection command but it doesnt seem to be working. Only a menu item which has no sub items is clickable.

Any suggestion??

The URLs in menus will open, but only if their submenus didn't open
yet. You should click on menu item before submenu opens and URL redirection will go.
