Anti-ads plug-in not functioning

The anti-ads features does not allow for adding additional patterns to filter out ads nor does the default entries effectively remove ads. It should use a known list of ad servers as the basis for removing ads and remove any standard banner images as well as remove the content of any TR/TD tags that have words like sponsored or advertisements.

If the existing functionality worked it might be useful on simple sites.

Best to test this on NYtimes.com or about.com website to see a real example of where the adblocking would be a useful feature.
