Hi,

I have followed the instructions on http://www.dev.besttoolbars.net/wiki/index.php/Firefox_Converter and renamed my cab file to toolbar.cab
but I get the following error message

Quote:
The applicaiton has failed to start because FreeImage.dll was not found. Re-installing the applicaiton may fix the problem.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks

You don't need to do it manually.
Just go Tools->Make Firefox Installer in ToolbarStudio to convert IE toolbar into Firefox

I have done that.

I get a screen asking for .PFX file but since its just a test toolbar I am not using it so I click OK and then I get the following message :

Quote:
Not all Firefox installer's have been produced! The installer may work wrong.

And then it just opens up by C:/ folder.

Is there a specific folder where it creates the Firefox installer?

Thanks

You don't need to sign, uncheck this checkbox.

But you probably not using Updates, that is why you get this message. You should have received .xpi and install.html files, without update.xml

To install the toolbar , you should use https URLs in Server/Update fileds of Toolbar Settings->Update tab
