I made a toolbar with "ToolbarStudio 4.1.0.41" and I have generated Firefox install(xpi) but when I try to install the extension then I get the following error:
"will not be installed because it does not provide secure updates "
I got one solution:

1. Enter ‘about:config’ into address bar, hit go
2. Right click somewhere in the list of keys below. Select New->Boolean
3. Enter ‘ extensions.checkUpdateSecurity ‘ as the name
4. Select false as the value
5. Reattempt installation of your plugin.

Is there any other solution to this ? (for example a setting in the StudioToolbar when I generate the ff install)

Thanks
Kovacs

Try uploading the .cab file to a secure link on your website.
https://

And there are settings in the toolbar option to point the updates to that location.

I think it worked for me! Smile

Good luck!

Yes, it matters, which number of ToolbarStudio do you use currently and please, send us your .xpi created to support@besttoolbars.net, we'll test.
