Toolbar Studio - Quick Overview

With ToolbarStudio you can build your own Dynamic IE & Firefox Toolbars in minutes thanks to intuitive "What you see is What you Get" interface.

While adding Toolbar elements in Structure area you will instantly see them in Preview Area from where you may test URL links right in the Web Browser of ToolbarStudio.

In ToolbarStudio you may add the following :

Toolbar Elements

- text label - button - menu - menu items - separator (fixed/moving) - search box/ drop-down list - checkbox - radio button	- space - edit box - password box - banner - bubble - dynamic XML - custom XML - custom Javascript

You may assign the following Commands to buttons/menu items as : - Search - URL redirection - Switch Search Engine - Highlight Search Keywords - Set Home Page - Launch Script - Run external program - Open local files in modal browser windows - Generate Options page for toolbar customization , etc...

Macros :

From Insert menu you will be able to pass the following Macros available in the toolbar that can be substituted into the URL used for BANNER, BUBBLE and INCLUDE_XML tags. These substitutions can also be put into any URL redirection assigned to a button/menu item) : - %user_name, - %user_pass - %AffiliateID, - %combo - %edit - %Checkbox1 - toolbar variables like %Var1...%Var10 - etc...

Plug-Ins :

From Plugins menu you will be able to add : - RSS reader - E-mail checker - Login Manager - Alert - Auto-Fill - Web filter - Weather On-Line - etc... (there are about 25 Plug-ins in ToolbarStudio) and from Tools menu you can make .Exe/Web installers for IE and Firefox browsers. There is also an option to make a double installer for IE & Firefox.

Sample - How To Make Google Seach

1) add search box element
2) add a button - in Attributes area find Command list and choose 'Search'
3) in 'Target URL' field enter the following :

http://www.google.com/search?q=%combo

where combo is the name of your seach box

4) type any keyword in your search box and just press the button.

The same way :
- you may assign the same command for search box itself and press 'Enter' instead.
- you may surf on your own search engine, just use %combo in your URL to get keywords.
- you may define your Caption and Icon for buttons in Attributes area.
- you can create drop-down list by choosing Non-editable Type for search box, after that you can add the pre-defined values

You can also create menus and assign "URL Redirection" command for menu items to open sites you need.

You may post data on your server in hidden mode even - just choose 'Search' command and 'Post Data' option in 'New Window' field.

You can run any Javascript from a button of toolbar, just add "Custom javascript" element, define your script in Edit area and assign 'Launch Script' command to any button/menu item
